Kitten Bonus Haul Pt.1

In my last haul post I mentioned I would take a break from shopping for a while.. But, of course, I couldn’t help myself. Fin destroyed his feather wand within 3 days of being introduced to it, which meant I had an excuse to get some extras, although I did still keep it to a minimum!

Now, because of Fin’s love for feathers, I figured I’d just go ahead and get the pack of three feather wands, the main reason for this shopping spree. Now, I mentioned the Cat-It Scratch ‘n Play in a things to buy post before, but every time I was shopping.. It was sold out. Happened to me four times, but this time, it was still in stock! I also wanted a flexible leash so I could work on the leash training and being outside with Fin. This one is working out pretty neat so far, but doesn’t stretch as long as a dog’s leash would. Last, and sadly least, the Baldini catnip/valerian cushions/kickers. I’m fully aware catnip and valerian can get a little smelly, but this stinks. Seriously, it stinks really badly; if you take it out of the packaging (which has a ziplock mechanism, thank the lord) the entire room soaks up the smell. Since I was already inclined to throw them out, I did so when I found out Fin really doesn’t care for them, because quite frankly, he also thinks they smell bad.

While I was in England, I picked Fin up a small toy as well; little catnip sardines. Somewhere in London, there was a truly adorable little doggie boutique with a small cat section, and of course, me being me, I couldn’t resist. Fin does like these, but I don’t think the catnip in them does much for him. The packaging, and the fishies themselves, however, are adorable!

As you can see by the length of this post, I behaved pretty well during my shopping session. I’m trying to keep the online shopping to a minimum, considering Fin has way too many toys right now, but Etsy is so tempting! September’s Kitty Finds is on its way, and I can’t wait to share what I found with you guys.
