I’ve been keeping this under wraps for mooooonths now, but because we’re celebrating this week anyways, I figured I’d spill the beans.. By this time, three weeks from now, our household will have a new addition. Meet Pippa Puppy!
If you’ve known us for a while, you’ll know we had a dog, Banjer, who sadly passed away September last year. Ever since then, we’ve all missed having her around, and having a dog around in general; my mom especially. Finally, around May, she decided she wanted a new pup, and she contacted Banjer’s breeder. Marvel Pippa was born on the 9th of June 2016, is a Cão da Serra de Aires (Portugese Sheepdog) like Banjer was, but a different colour; she’ll most likely be blondish, and she’ll come home with us on the 1st of October. In the mean time though, my parents have already visited her twice, and I’ll come with them when we’ll be picking her up.Lydia, our breeder, is located in France, which means we’ll have an 8-9 hour drive ahead of us. I’ll probably be in the backseat with her, and she’s said to be very cuddly.. Fin will be taken great care of by our neighbours, who also love him to bits.
We’re pretty sure Fin and Pippa will get along just fine, because Fin loves having other dogs over to play with, and is just a really chill, easy-going cat anyways. Pippa is said to be very chill as well, but since I haven’t met her myself, I’ll be writing another article about her when she’s been home for a while, to update you on her, and how the introduction and everything went! It’ll also be the first time Fin will be taken care of by other people, so I might write an article about that. They’ll be coming over a few hours daily to spend time with him, so I’m hoping he’ll be fine.
PS. Yes, I am a Marvel Universe fan.. But this was definitely not my doing, haha! Marvel is French for little miracle, which is exactly what our little Pippa is.
