April Kitty Finds ’16

I think I might be getting a little repetitive, but honestly, time flew by this month. I had a ton of deadlines for college, and worked a lot. I skipped a post last week, but thankfully, I still had time to celebrate Fin’s birthday, which I’ll be posting about this caturday. So, let’s get onto this month’s kitty finds!

As usual, a little disclaimer; in these posts, I’ll be featuring shops and certain items that I’ve found online; things that I admire, feel deserve more exposure, and things I might buy along the way. These posts are not sponsored in any way; I hand pick all of these items and ‘advertise’ them for free, just because I want to. Credit of these pictures go to their respective owners, and will be linked to corresponding the shop!

Ragdoll Kitten of the Month

Guess who is Ragdoll Kitten of the Month over at floppycats.com? That’s right! Our not so little Finley Bean is!

I submitted the article October last year, and was waitlisted just in time for Fin’s birthday month. Floppycats.com is an online community, really, a blog and a YouTube channel combined. It’s one of my all-time favourite cat blogs, and it actually inspired me to start my own blog.
Jenny has been so helpful to me in my journey to getting a cat, with just her videos and the information she puts up on her blog. She’s even personally helped me with some blog decisions, so if you’re reading this, thank you, Jenny! You’re a wonderful person, give all the kitties a cuddle for me 🙂

Floppycats.com takes Ragdoll Kitten of the Month, and Ragdoll of the Week submissions, and often has interviews with people relevant to the Ragdoll community, such as breeders, nutrition specialists, etc. Even if you’re not located in America, the community is very international,

Here’s a little sneak peek:

I have been a cat lover for most of my life really, it all started as cats just being cute, to being fascinated with their behaviour, and eventually deciding I wanted one for myself. I watched a lot of cat videos on YouTube, and shows on animal planet (My Cat From Hell, Cats 101). Since I’m eighteen, and still live with my parents, I’d already decided it’d have to wait until I moved out when I was about 14. Just because I made that decision though, didn’t mean I wasn’t going to research cats and everything about them, and through Cats 101, I decided the Ragdoll would be the perfect breed for me.

Review; Lilly Brush S.O.S.

A while back now, I wrote a first impression about the Lilly Brush S.O.S. It’s been almost 9 months now, (oops!), and I’ve had the chance to test this baby extensively. I mentioned in the first post that Fin wasn’t shedding much, but this has changed dramatically. We’re in the middle of shedding season, the best time of all times to test products for removing hair from furniture and clothing, so, how did the Lilly Brush score?

March Kitty Finds ’16

We’re a month closer to Fin’s birthday, smack dab in the middle of kitten season. Will you be adopting a little furry friend sometime soon? This month’s kitty finds is especially well-balanced, if I do say so myself. We have some kitty merchandise, portraits, accessories, decor and food. Food is a first in this series, so I’m curious to see what you’ll think.Normally, I do kitty finds every last Tuesday of the month, but this month, I’m doing it a week earlier, because our Blogiversary is next week!
