My baby boy’s birthday was just a little over a week ago now, but I haven’t had time to post about it until today! As a Caturday Special, I figured I’d share what I did to celebrate Fin’s birthday, specifically his special little birthday cake, and next week, I’ll post a 12-month update.
We’re a month closer to Fin’s birthday, smack dab in the middle of kitten season. Will you be adopting a little furry friend sometime soon? This month’s kitty finds is especially well-balanced, if I do say so myself. We have some kitty merchandise, portraits, accessories, decor and food. Food is a first in this series, so I’m curious to see what you’ll think.Normally, I do kitty finds every last Tuesday of the month, but this month, I’m doing it a week earlier, because our Blogiversary is next week!
As usual, a little disclaimer; in these posts, I’ll be featuring shops and certain items that I’ve found online; things that I admire, feel deserve more exposure, and things I might buy along the way. These posts are not sponsored in any way; I hand pick all of these items and ‘advertise’ them for free, just because I want to. Credit of these pictures go to their respective owners, and will be linked to corresponding the shop!
Today’s first impression review is a little different, a little late (woops), and a first. I’m not sure how I can review cat food, since obviously, Fin can’t actually tell me if he likes it, but I’m going to try my best here. I made a quick little video to show you the texture of the food, and how the packaging works, since it’s very different from canned food. Continue reading
I’ve mentioned it in earlier posts, but I’ll mention it again; I’m very picky when it comes to Fin’s food. The whole raw food debate has put me off dry food, so I have been looking, and looking for a good wet food that is suitable as a complete food. I’ve even considered feeding raw, but for me personally it would be too expensive and time consuming at the moment, and there are no ready-made options available to me, but I’ll talk more about the raw food debate in a different post. This one will be all about the foods I’ve bought for him to try out, why I chose them, and how I found them!
By the time you guys are reading this, Fin will have been home for a day already! Time really does fly these days. Anywho, onto the food haul! I bought his food two weeks ago now, along with some other food-related stuff. I got very nit-picky with food after having read up on feline-nutrition.org and following the whole raw food debate. Who doesn’t want to feed their cat the best they can? Continue reading
