It’s been six months since I had Fin neutered, and as expected, he’s definitely changed since, but not in the way most cats do. Most cats become more laid-back after being de-sexed, but Fin has actually become way more active! He has the ‘zoomies’ literally 4 times a day now; he just goes nuts and runs around the house like the little maniac he is.
Happy 1st “Adoptiversary”, Finley Bean!
Time to play catch-up (Again)! Honestly, I know I keep saying this, but I’m really hoping to get back into blogging this time. Fin has been home for exactly a year and a day now, and although the past year has been very tough on our family, I couldn’t be happier to have him here. He’s the best thing to come home to after a long day, and nothing is more comforting than cuddling him, hearing him purr, seeing him be a total goof, and just being around him in general. This Monday, the 23rd, marked our first year on Instagram! The day I joined, this was the first picture I posted. It took a bit of scrolling, because we’ve posted over 800 photos since then, but just look at his tiny little face! Only a month old, and now, at 13 months, he has over 10.000 followers. It’s been amazing getting to know so many lovely people on Instagram, and I can honestly say I’ve made some great friends on there, from all over the world.
I was planning to write this post exactly a week ago, so it’d have gone up on the day I met Fin, exactly a year ago, but sadly, life got in the way. My grandma isn’t doing well, and I was too distracted to write. I’ll try to keep things updated, but it’s a little difficult right now, so I hope you’ll understand. My baby boy turned one year old last month, so it’s time for another update! Continue reading
As you might know, Fin had his big boy operation (also known as castration) just over 2 weeks ago. Our breeder recommended I wait until he was about ten months old if I could, because he’d have some more time to grow and develop. I’m glad I waited, but I’m also glad I did it. It’s a very small procedure, but I thought I’d still update you on how it went anyways.
