Since I missed three month’s worth of Kitty Finds, I figured I’d just combine them into a Summer Kitty Finds! I’ll be revealing some very exciting news during my birthday week that I’ve been keeping a secret for MONTHS now (my actual birthday is the 8th of September), and keep you updated on my little Bean’s health as I find out more about his weight loss. For now though, I hope you enjoy these finds!
As always, a little disclaimer; in these posts, I’ll be featuring shops and certain items that I’ve found online; things that I admire, feel deserve more exposure, and things I might buy along the way. These posts are not sponsored in any way; I hand pick all of these items and ‘advertise’ them for free, just because I want to. Credit of these pictures go to their respective owners, and will be linked to corresponding the shop!
We follow these cuties on Instagram, and their Mom makes the cutest digital portraits, and a lot of other fun cat themed merchandise. I do believe every cat lover should have at least one portrait of their baby in their home, or at least some cat themed thingamajigs! Olive And Rye Cats is definitely one of those shops that makes you want to buy everything they have to offer.
I think most cat owners might agree with me, but anything that makes cleaning the litterbox easier is a plus in my book! There are all sorts of fancy self cleaning litterboxes out there right now, but most of them are way out of my price range. This lets you sift the entire litterbox without hassle! The Luuup Litterbox isn’t officially out yet, but you can pre-order it!
It’s hard to find something completely different when it comes to cat toys. These Bouncy Tails however, to me, are something completely new! A bouncy ball with feathers; a simple concept, but one I think Fin would love! The inventor, Matt, and his C.F.O. Andrew need some help getting the funds to start mass production of these, and if you back them up, you’ll not only get a 3 pack of Bouncy Tails, but Matt and Andrew pledged to donate 15% of the total revenue to animal shelters.
I can’t believe I forgot to feature her in an earlier Kitty Finds, but last year, the lovely Kim Haskins made a Fin ornament for me! I adore the way she painted him, and the way she paints other cats. I’m not sure if she’ll be doing ornaments again this year, but in any case, she sells lovely (and funny) prints too!
Now, you might already know Petcube. They’ve really made a name for themselves, and I’ve had them on my list for a looooong time. I just kept forgetting to write about them! They’ve actually recently launched a new version of their product; the Petcube Play, and now also the Pet Cube Bites! The perfect way to interact with your pets when you’re not at home, by either giving them treats or pointing lasers, but both options come with the ability to talk and listen to your pet!
Some time before I even got Fin, I read about elevated feeders; how they’re supposed to help with digestion and make sure regurgitation doesn’t happen. A lot of those feeders, however, weren’t as cute as normal pet food bowls you can get. ViViPet definitely made sure you can’t say that about their feeders! They offer a variety of styles, but I’ve fallen in love with this one. How cute are the bowls!?
Milkbox US keeps selling out. And for a reason! How cute are these little cardboard houses? It really does check all boxes; durable, cheap, cute, and as a bonus, eco-friendly! They fit in basically every interior, so you should definitely get one for your pet. They’re sold out right now, but more stock is on the way!
Audrey Miller Art, just like Kim Haskins, is someone I’ve known for quite a while now, but I just keep forgetting to write about. She made a gorgeous Fin portrait that I have now framed, and honestly, you should just check her out! As far as I know, her style is unique, because I haven’t encountered anyone that captures cats like she does!
One of our Instagram friends, Leo, has a very talented mom! She founded Furryandfancy.com, and makes the cutest accessories for cats! This adorable number is just to die for, but it’s not the only thing they sell. Bowties, flowers, collars, dresses, you name it, she makes it!
Now, this one says its for dogs.. But honestly, which cat wouldn’t also love a teepee? Teepees are definitely a cute item to have in your home, and a lovely little home for your pet. I’m thinking I might DIY this one, but if you’re not up for that, you should definitely check Pipolli out!
That’s it for this Summer’s Kitty Finds! I hope you’ve enjoyed it, and as always, if you have any recommendations, give me a shout!
